Welcome to the Rambler Inn
Nestled into the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. This charming country inn, although grand in stature, is a warm and homely environment, and the perfect place to spend an evening in comfort after a day of rambling walks and picturesque peaks.
Our friendly staff will greet you with a warm smile and an unfailingly friendly disposition, making the Rambler Inn feel just like a home away from home. Our decades of experience in hospitality make it easy to see why our patrons return year after year and leave with fond memories and a lasting love of our small community.
Sitting at the start of the Pennine Way, The Rambler Inn is the first marker in a small string of hamlets leading through the valley up towards Kinder Scout and other amazing hiking trails with views to take your breath away.
Book a room and extend your stay in one of our comfortable and accommodating suits, each with its own en suite bathroom, television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Carrying real ales, traditional ciders and a large variety of whiskeys and spirits, the bar has something for everyone. Hot and cold food is served daily in all of our four dining areas, with a large variety of meals available as well as the Chef’s Daily Specials. We have an open bar area as well as a large beer garden, so you can enjoy your surroundings whilst you enjoy our hospitality.
Here at the Rambler, we welcome groups of all ages, children, and pets. Come along and indulge in the friendly environment the Rambler Inn is known for.
